Game Launch Campaign

YoWorld launched an in-browser game as an alternative gameplay platform to Facebook. I developed creative visuals for new in-game features, marketing campaigns, and video tutorials to create awareness of the new gameplay.

Jessie is an awesome graphic designer, a highly creative spirit and a positive soul! She’s always quick to respond and fast to iterate. I loved working with her during my time at Big Viking Games and would recommend her to anyone!

Knowing your audience is a key for a sucessful marketing campaign. Most of YoWorld users are long-time players for over 10 years. The players like things how they are and hate changes. Therefore, It is important to keep familiarity in the campaign. All campaign visuals had to follow the game brand look and feel.

As the only visual designer at Big Viking Games, I have to be able to work independently. Luckily our Production Team always stay on top to documented every update on our games. I had to be able to research, analyze, and develop solutions with visual communication. Our team decided to create marketing visuals and video tutorials to promote our campaign.

One of campaign requests was “create an email tutorial” without any other details. It sounds simple, but it was one of the most challenging requests of this campaign. We found an obstacle for players to play our game.

I was involved in this project last minute. I wasn’t familiar with all the new features of the game. Plus, everyone was very busy with their own responsibilities to get this feature launched in a couple of days.

I was able to work independently to develop this video tutorial in very little time.
